CHILDREN'S THEATER IN THE PARK: This tuition based theater program meets for 8-10 weeks prior to showtime!  Everyone gets a part! No need to audition! We learn by playing and play by acting!  Every week we rehearse while learning how to be in a  theatrical production!  We will perform at the Wrightsville Beach Amphitheater for friends, family and community! Produced by the Performance Club under the direction of LJ Woodard and with the support of WB Parks and Recreation...these simplified productions are ideal for large casts AND for the young performer who wants to perform in a stress free environment.  Previous theater in the park shows include: Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, Grease, Mamma Mia for Kids, Footloose, The Sky is Falling, Frozen, Zombeo and Juliet, Spooktackular, The Wizard of Oz, Finding Nemo, School of Rock, Back to the 80's, Willy Wonka and ALICE IN WONDERLAND!

CHILDREN'S THEATER IN THE PARK

This Performance Club class is ideal for the slightly more serious performer.  Utilizing contemporary scenes and monologues plus improvisational workouts, this weekly class will never be dull!  But an energy boost of creative freedom and expansion into a craft that will serve them well.  These skills can take any performer far whether they pursue acting professionally or other professions where communication, public speaking and leadership is key.
FOR AGES 10-TEEN! Depending on the group size and availability, we will showcase our talents at a fundraising event for the Carousel Center November 17th which will serve as a credit for their resumes and count as community service work as well!  Email Director, LJ Woodard directly for a registration form, qualifications and tuition details. Class size is limited to 15 max!

Our Theater in the Park programs give young actors an opportunity to explore all aspects of performance with an outdoor showcase performance. Whereas Young Professionals is ideal for both beginners and advanced students to practice their craft in different theatrical concentrations (auditioning, commercials, tv/film, theatre, movement, voice, scenes, monologues and improv).

The Young Professionals group is purely process-driven where students can find their own artistic voice in a collaborative and creative environment.  This workshop provides a great alternative for students unable to make the commitment to a production but allows them to purely "play and practice".  This series is also suited for young actors who have an Agent or seeking representation.

Directed by LJ Woodard (SAG) of the Performance Club plus some invited industry professionals for further insight to these future young professionals! Performance Club is an ideal program to prepare your performer for the stage or screen in a positive atmosphere while having fun!
