Open to all kids in the Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach area!  Join the Fun!

Feb.2 - March 23rd: "Oscar and Idol Season" - REGISTRATION BEGINS JAN. 4TH!
This session focuses on all aspects of performance - comedy, drama, song and dance!  Our theme is the Academy Awards for the first part of the session with a show that includes the red carpet, interviews, skits and music of this year's nominees and our favorites!  We'll prepare a few contemporary routines just in case we're asked to perform at any charity, fundraising or festival event like last year!

Apr 6 - May 25th: "Let's Make a Movie" - Registration begins Jan. 4th!
This session focuses on performance in front of and behind the camera!  We'll write, create, format, storyboard, plot and perform our very own movie!  We will submit our final masterpiece to the Cucalorus Film Festival!  Will accept middle school kids for this program.  See our movies from the past years by clicking here! Performance Club at the Music School of Wilmington:
Wednesday - Ongoing weekly...year round! 
Ages 9 - teen @5 - 6pm
An hour of comedy, improv, drama, monologues, audition technique, on-camera technique, scene study, stand up and more! Learn the basics of acting while fine tuning your skills.  Ideal for young actors in the "biz" or who want to get into the "biz"!  
Tuition $60/month

All Performance Club Kids must also pay a one-time Music School Registration fee of $25.00.  The Music School is an ideal location to prepare your performer for the stage and the screen - professional atmosphere...but still a lot of fun!  And a great place to take voice, piano, guitar or drums!

Open to WBS kids - grades K-5th!  We'll rehearse for an original production,  "It's So Easy to Be Green!" - a funny musical about the importance of taking care of our environment!
Starts April 7th - every Wednesday!
Time: 2:30pm-3:30pm
Tuition: $60/month

Performance Club at YOUR School:
Contact LJ Woodard if interested in starting this exciting after school program at your school.  Information packets are available for your PTA organizations and Principals.  We can design a program around a fundraiser where we perform a show or rehearse for a play that the entire school can enjoy! Productions can be based around Character Education, Cultural Arts or Marine Science themes! It makes for an excellent fundraiser and the kids get to perform!  Performance Club has had programs at WBS, Noble and St. Mark's!

Performance Club follows all NHCS rules with the Central Office and pays all required insurances and facility use fees to conduct their program at your school.

Private Coaching
Private Coaching is available for the serious actor.  Rate of $50/hour (2 actors max). Ideal for audition and on-camera technique...we can work with sides given for audition.  Registered with the Wilmington Film Commission for on-set film coaching for young actors.
