Performance Club: This class covers all aspects of performance for Grades K-4th! We’ll sing, move, act, improvise, use our voices…and perform in shows! We’ll learn by playing and play by acting! Theater games, scene study and rehearsals take up most of the class! It’s all about “getting up…and being up front”! Tuition $64/month, Mon, Tues or Wed! Register

Musical Theater: Do you love Broadway? Well this class will combine songs and scenes from your favorite Hollywood and theatrical musicals! From musical theater history to learning and staging particular songs...you will love performing your favorite Broadway hits! Tuition $64/month,Tuesday after Performance Club.Take as a combo with Performance Club for $99 total!

Young Players: This class covers all aspects of performance for Grades 5th & up! We’ll sing, move, act, improvise, use our voices…and perform in "full plays" that we will perform for family and friends. Utilizing scripts that teach valuable lessons and taking our performance skills to another level! Tuition $64/month Wednesdays. Take as a combo with Glee for $99 discount total!

Performance Glee: Do you love to sing? This class helps you get the most out of your voice. The class will include harmony, vocal improv, musical theater performance, “song and dance” technique. And prepare you to sing solo – get more from your songs – more from the music, lyrics and content! Tuition $35/month Wednesdays after Young Players. Take as a combo for a discount!

Private Voice Instruction: One on one voice instruction is key to learning how to sing well and correctly. Thirty minute voice lessons are available by appointment only with Performance Glee Instructor - Matthew Talley or Musical Director - Denice Hopper! Call the studio for an appointment! Tuition $35/lesson. Purchase 4 lessons for $100 - great discount! M, T or W.

Young Professionals: This acting class is ideal for kids in the “biz” or who want to get into the “biz”! You may also qualify if you've had any previous training, theatrical experience or have taken Performance Club over the years. We will cover audition technique, on-camera technique, monologues, scene study, acting for film and for the stage. If you’re looking to get an Agent or already have an Agent…this is a great class to keep up one’s training and prepare you for a career in acting! Every class - every week - something different! Tuition $64/month. $20/class drop-in. NEW DAY - NEW TIME! Mondays.

Studio Theater Troupe Productions: Check the website for Auditions! This is an excellent opportunity to build up one’s resume and performance experience! Check website for updates! (By Audition Only...Rehearsals TBA...Call the studio if interested)

Master Classes/Workshops: It’s important for performers to study with working professionals in the “biz”. Whether it’s in dance, film, comedy, stunt work or theater…the Performance Club Studio will be offering master classes and workshops every month.

Home school Drama: It’s so important to take acting in a group atmosphere and the Performance Club Studio offers this class just for the County’s “homeschoolers”! We’ll cover the nuts and bolts of acting. Learn improv, movement and character development. Topics will include focus, concentration, trust and working within an ensemble by putting on a play at the Performance Club Studio’s stage! Here’s your chance to get your “drama on”! Tuition $64/month. Fridays @11am -12noon.

Private Coaching

Private Coaching is available for the serious actor (All Ages - even Adults). Rate of $55/hour. Ideal for audition and on-camera technique...we can work with sides given for an audition or work on character development. Registered with the Wilmington Film Commission for on-set film coaching for young actors. Can videotape auditions (rate $35/half hour includes some coaching/editing; $20 for shorter scenes with only 2-3 lines) and send to Agent/Casting Directors!

The Studio is an ideal location to prepare your performer for the stage and the screen in a professional atmosphere...but still a lot of fun! And the Music School of Wilmington is next door...a great place to take voice, piano, guitar or drums!

FINDING NEMO PERFORMANCE CLUB
THEATER PROGRAM:

Special 10 week Theater Program!
March 22 - May 31st at
Wrightsville Beach Parks and Recreation.
This is a tuition based theater program where every student performs in a live theater production on June 1, 2 and 5th at Wrightsville Beach Amphitheater and WBS!
Get ready for "Finding Nemo"!

Open to everyone ages 5-13years.
4-5 pm Ages 5-9
5-6pm Ages 10-13

This program will be held every Thursday at the Fran Russ Studio on Wrightsville Beach Island behind Town Hall and next to the new Fire Station.
Registration is at the WB Parks and Rec office ONLY!
Director LJ Woodard will teach this weekly class and produce "Finding Nemo" over the 10 weeks.
Performances for family, friends and community will be June 2nd in the WB Amphitheater "Theater in the Park"....and then we will take the show to Wrightsville Beach Elementary School on June 5th where we will perform at their Marine Science Fair (participants will have to miss school). "Finding Nemo"...fish are friends...not food!
